On 'On art'
I recently wrote about about art and its meaning in the postmodern, post-Warholian world. While looking through the PopMatters website during one of my many moments of procrastination at work, I came upon this review of a book (excerpted here) by a professor named Richard A. Lapham. Both the review and the book provide interesting, in-depth discussions of the points I haphazardly raised.
(Note: When I wrote "I’ve never read a book about (art) and don’t expect to in the near future", I was clearly lying.)
