Obvious highlights: Grizzly Bear, Bonnie Prince Billy, BBML
Surprises: Deerhoof (holy shit), Rod Stewart, Dylan
I recommend the entire Deerhoof record (Friend Oppurtunity, their latest). They remind me of Os Mutantes in their willingness to take pop experimentation to the extreme.
It's funny because I've read that opinion repeatedly in like every magazine I've picked up in the last month and still dismissed them.

ala.cali.tucky. is still the best thing i've heard this year.
better than 'Sky Blue Sky'? You're nuts.
